I am Joy Watkins Jones, and I am a six year cancer survivor. In 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram. I was extremely devastated but I held on to my faith nevertheless. I underwent chemotherapy and a double mastectomy. Today, after such an ordeal, I am proud to say that I am a breast cancer survivor.
